MLB Scoreboard

MLB Scores

Football and Basketball scores are divided in quarters while Hockey uses periods. The MLB Scores are displayed with innings, nine of them to be exact but bettors often see extra innings all the time and that happens when a game is tied after the first nine innings. What also separates the MLB Scores from the three other main sports in the United States is the clock, which isn’t used in baseball. That’s why bettors often see games take hours upon hours to finish and that happens with either extra innings or weather delays.

The MLB Scores starts populating matchups when the spring training begins in early February and continues through the World Series, which ends at the end of October. All of your MLB bets can be followed on the VegasInsider.com MLB Scoreboard and they’re simple to follow once you figure out the format for the Scores. The MLB Scores start with the Matchup, which has a designated Home and Away team.

All Games are listed in order of Rotation that are created by the sportsbooks. The Rotation numbers are assigned to each team and it identifies the bet that is being placed at an online sportsbook or in a casino. Those numbers eliminate any confusion between the bettor and the sportsbook. Along with rotation numbers, games are also listed by time and the VegasInsider.com MLB Scores show the Game Time in Eastern Time Zone (ET).

Next to the rotations are the Teams that are playing, followed by the Pitchers listed for each matchup. The MLB Scores always list the last name of the Starting Pitcher, followed by the initial of their first name.

Ex. Ryan, N

The key section for bettors in the MLB Scores is the Line and the number shown is a consensus line that is created by multiple sportsbooks in the United States. The Line displays which team is the favorite in the matchup and that can be determined with a minus (-) sign followed by a number. The underdog has a plus symbol (+) listed in their corresponding row.

The MLB Scores section features Betting Trends for each matchup and this shows you how much money is being wagered on each team. It’s a great tool if you want to ride or against the betting public. Other great resources on the Scoreboard are the Line Movements and Preview for each matchup. Knowing how a sportsbook adjusts to the action is great plus the Preview offers a quick synopsis of each team’s clubhouse.

With 162 regular season games, there's plenty of opportunities to get in on the MLB action. If you are in a state where sports betting is legal, please check out our online sportsbook directory to find the best and most secure places to make baseball bets.

MLB Results & Records

The team that’s favored in each matchup is determined by the sportsbooks and their oddsmakers. The team with the better record isn’t always listed as the favorite but that’s known to be a very good starting point. The MLB Scoreboard shows records for all teams in their matchups and they’re divided into two categories. -- (Overall Record) and (Away or Home Record)

The Win-Loss is broken up by overall record and either the away or home record, depending on who is the host or the visitor.

The MLB Results on the Scoreboard help bettors determine whether they won or lost their wagers on the point-spread. The winning team is designated with a ‘red check’ and the ATS section determines the betting outcome. ATS or Against the Spread is a common term in the sports betting industry and even though a point-spread isn’t used in baseball, the Money-Line winner is still shown.

For Total bettors, it’s clear-cut and those wagers are identified as Over or Under. Plus, the MLB Results show the combined points scored so you don’t have to do the math in your head.

After games go final in the MLB Scores, a Recap link is shown which provides a quick synopsis on the action plus a Boxscore link gives a great statistical breakdown for both teams in the game.

MLB Livescores

Placing wagers on the professional teams in the MLB is one thing but following all nine innings of the action in the Livescores is even better, especially in extra innings. The VegasInsider.com MLB scoreboard shows real-time results as the games get underway. You won’t win or lose your wager until you see Final Score posted and that’s when you keep your eyes peeled for the Red Check and ATS results for each matchup. If you’re unsure of how you won or last, the Livescores populates a Recap link and that insight can help your sports betting techniques improve in the long run.

Upgrades To Indoor Facility Finished!

We are pleased to announced that we have completed our $400,000 indoor facility renovation.  New LED lightning was put in, as well as brand new field turf being installed throughout the facility.  The batting cage gates were all completely replaced with brand new steel gates.  New steel entry way gates were installed for the infield entry way, and new netting was installed along the batting cage walkway.  An enclosed 15′ x 15′ office, complete with heating and air conditioning, was built.  Both bathrooms have been completely re-done with new tile, paint and baseboards.  The facility floors were painted with a grey epoxy flooring paint.  We have installed three swamp cooler units in the facility for the summer months.  A brand new roof was installed atop the building, which will help with temperatures being regulated better in both the winter and summer months.  The outside of our building was completely repainted as well.  We have replaced all seven batting cage nets with new, industrial strength #60 gauge knotted ninylon netting, that was dipped twice in a synthetic coating.  These, along with several other upgrades, make our facility the largest, state-of-the art facility in the area!

Muckdogs In The News

Muckdogs 16U And 18U Spring Teams Will Begin Their Second Season Of Play, 15U And 17U Spring Teams Being Added In 2021

The Muckdogs Baseball Club formulated a 16U and a 18U Spring Team in the spring of 2020, and both teams were highly competitive.  We attracted several of the top players in the area to be a part of our spring group.  2021 will be an exciting spring, as we plan to build off the momentum that was created from the inaugural spring season.  The 16U and 18U spring teams will bridge to our 15U, 17U and 19U summer teams, and then to our 15U, 16U, 17U and 18U fall/winter teams.

It will be an experience for our players that will allow them to continue to play high level baseball, with qualified coaching, while still leaving them plenty of time to focus on their academics.  We have been in contact with some of the other top travel organizations in the country, such as Headfirst Baseball, who have put together comparable spring products together for their players and families.  We will work closely with these organizations to develop our spring teams.  Our spring clubs will practice three times a week.  We will play 30 games over the course of our twelve and a half week spring season, that will provide competitive play, development and exposure for our athletes.

We have a strength training component to the spring season, forging a relationship with Ryan Butler, the owner of Reno Athlete Development And Fitness.  Ryan is a former Muckdogs player and current Muckdogs coach.  He played college baseball and graduated from the University of Nevada, and is a NASM certified strength and conditioning coordinator. Incorporating  functional training and conditioning during our spring season will help our players gain more strength and athleticism.  For more information on how to get your son involved, contact Bret Pagni at (775) 843-5172 or Click to E-Mail.

2022 Muckdogs Summer 15U, 17U and 19U Tournaments

Testimonial To Our Commitment

Hello Ken and Bret,  We the Pinto family would like express our appreciation to you and your organization for the years our son Jonathan Pinto played baseball with you. The knowledge and expertise of the sport he learned helped him land a baseball scholarship with Central Washington University where he is today. Without the professionalism of Ken Camel of the Muckdogs this wouldn’t of been possible. We are truly grateful for the Muckdogs Organization. Thank you!! – Maria and Carlos Pinto

Hey Bret,  Its Milo the manager of the 9U Morros. I just want to say that I enjoy watching you coach your kids. The detail and the want that you get out of your kids is amazing. Great job man. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you down the road at a tourney. Thanks for your time. – Emilio Lopez

Hi Bret,  Just wanted to pass along a note to you regarding this past weekend’s tournament in Sparks. I’m the pitching coach for the 11U Morgan Hill Assault team that played you in the championship. Your team has a great bunch of kids that are talented, have great attitudes, and play the game the way it should be played. That’s a tribute to you, your organization and the coaches of that team. It’s not often at this level that you see a travel team that combines all the intangible things needed for success and growth. Most of the time it’s just a team thrown together to get a trophy. In shaking their hands after the game, not one player was down, they all kept their heads up and greeted us with class and dignity. The coaches as well. That tells me they are good kids being taught to be gracious in victory and defeat. In short, you have a first class program with good coaches, committed parents and kids that have a passion to enjoy the experience of baseball. It was a pleasure to play you guys and we look forward to seeing you again In the future. – Rich Taylor Morgan Hill Assault 11U

Hi Bret,  I want to finally extend my sincere appreciation to you and your organization for the impact you have had on our son. I remember very clearly the day Cian and Tucker Scozzafava came home from a winter camp together and said that they were invited to try out for the Muckdogs. Cian was already a nut about baseball, but getting the opportunity to play for the Muckdogs was a dream come true! The past three years have been awesome. Our life in Northern Nevada has revolved around baseball. Most of our friends and family think we are crazy, but the joy that the game brings Cian and the fun we have had as family watching Cian and his teammates grow-up is immeasurable.

Your commitment to excellence and to the standards of your organization are what set you apart. The structure, the rules, the code of conduct, the two hour parent/player meetings and the occasional required Starbucks meeting (thankfully only one for us!) are not for everyone, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We did have moments of frustration, but in the end, this is what we signed up for and what we expected and it’s a huge contributor to the success our son has enjoyed on and off the field.

Thank you for your passion and commitment. I know you deal with more drama, whining, complaining, politics and discontent that we ever care to know, but you don’t carry it with you on the field. You are firm with the kids, but you manage to craft your leadership in just the right way to build character, baseball IQ, love and respect for the game. Cian will carry this experience with him for a lifetime. I hope he continues to play baseball for as long as he loves the game, but even if he doesn’t, I know the lessons he learned as a Dog will carry over to everything he does.

Best of luck and continued success! We’ll be following the Muckdogs for a long time to come! We’ll send Cian back to you for summer ball when he’s 16! – Mark Sahler

Hello Bret,  We chatted a bit after the championship game against Brentwood Blast on Sunday.  My son is one of the coaches and also coaches the Heritage High varsity team.  We are both very impressed on how you hold the kids attention with high intensity constantly teaching with positive attitude and correcting mistakes without breaking their spirits.  Your energy and enthusiasm is off the hook and I would let you loose with my grandson in a heartbeat.  Good Luck to your team I’m sure you will do very well this year and years to come . Maybe see you when your in the Central Valley again. – Lon Wheelock

Happiest place on earth?

The D Las Vegas

The D Las Vegas is located at the eastern end of the Fremont Street Experience on the site where the Irish-themed Fitzgerald’s once stood. (Image: thed.com.)

You might think the memorable tagline “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” is just some catchy slogan cooked up to inspire tourism of a certain desert oasis. But Derek Stevens, BS ’90, knows better.

Listening to the owner of the D Las Vegas Casino & Hotel recount his first visit to Sin City, one is struck more by what Stevens omits from the narrative than what he shares about the trip. He was a U-M student, he says, whose summer job had ended. He had a few weeks to kill before classes started up again, so he and some buddies took a road trip. To Vegas.

Stevens: “I was 20 years old.”

Pause.

“And yeah, I certainly remember my first time.”

Pause. Chuckle. Pause.

“Great time.”

Chuckle.

Let it ride

Derek Stevens, CEO and co-owner of the D Las Vegas, watches as Michigan takes on Loyola in the Final Four March 31, 2018, at the D.

Flash forward 30 years and Stevens is still chuckling and still having a great time. In addition to the D Las Vegas, he owns the city’s original casino, the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, with his brother, Greg Stevens. Both venues are in historic downtown Las Vegas, off the Strip.

In mid-January, the partners announced plans to build a 777-room casino and resort near their other two properties. Named Circa, the venue will be the area’s first ground-up, new construction project in 40 years. When it opens in late 2020, Circa will host a three-story sportsbook equipped with the largest television display in Las Vegas. Circa’s sportsbook also will feature an in-house broadcast studio created in partnership with sports gaming and media company Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN).

“I never really thought I’d be able to get into something like this,” Stevens says. “But I love running businesses. I love growing teams. The opportunity out here to take a small little place like the Golden Gate and grow it, and potentially acquire some other businesses and grow them, that really turns me on.”

Stevens initially was an engineering major at U-M but switched to economics his sophomore year.

“My time in Ann Arbor made me realize I wanted to be involved in the business world,” he says.

Open up those golden gates

Stevens' 2018 betting slip and a figure of Pope Francis

After graduating from Michigan, Stevens joined the family business — an auto supply company founded by his grandfather. He often traveled to Vegas for trade shows and conventions as well as for personal trips. He enjoyed the entertainment and was quick to discover he really enjoyed the sportsbooks.

“I’ve always been sports fan and I’ve always been a math guy,” he says.

In 2006, Stevens jumped at the chance to move the family’s investment portfolio, which he was managing, to tax-friendly Nevada. That same year, he and his brother — under the name Desert Rock Enterprises — bought a share of the Golden Gate on Fremont Street.

“That was my first foray into the casino business,” Stevens says. “I had to go through the [casino] licensing procedure for the first time. That’s a pretty interesting experience to go through. They go back decades on your tax returns; it’s very regulated.”

The brothers expanded and renovated the Golden Gate, which has 122 rooms and suites, and started thinking about adding a second casino to the portfolio. As the economy crashed, real estate prices dropped and bargains appeared. In 2011, the Stevens brothers bought Fitzgerald’s on Fremont Street and rebranded it the D Las Vegas.

The venue features 629 rooms and suites and offers some Detroit-themed touches that will delight hometown visitors – an Andiamo Italian Steakhouse and an American Coney Island. The marketing team sells the hotel to Detroit sports fans as their “home away from home” by always showing Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Lions, U-M, and MSU games on screens at the famous LONGBAR (literally the longest bar in Nevada).

Doubling down

Derek Stevens celebrates at the D.

Even though he didn’t win the $1 million, Stevens still had a great time during the 2018 NCAA tournament. (Image:  Sam Morris/Las Vegas News Bureau.)

Stevens compares the renaissance of downtown Las Vegas with what has happened in Detroit. Both cities took massive hits when the economy soured but have experienced a recent resurgence.

“Fremont Street is where Vegas started,” Stevens says. “It’s old downtown Las Vegas. It attracts 24 million visitors annually on those four blocks. It’s the second most-visited tourist destination in America after Times Square.”

But this entrepreneur is not about to let it ride. He constantly stays focused on sustaining success.

“I enjoy running a privately held business, which gives you more flexibility than publicly traded companies,” he says. “Obviously, economics are always changing and it’s our challenge to stay in front of the curve.”

He also was an early, active adopter of Twitter, using the social media platform to generate free buzz.

“When I bought the Golden Gate, it’s not like I had a big budget for advertising so I ended up doing my own PR,” Stevens says. “We had a lot of crazy events, crazy videos, stuff like that. We just try to have a lot of fun out here.”

Given Stevens’ impact on the Fremont Street area over the past decade, it is no wonder a Las Vegas business publication a few years back listed him as one of the most influential people in the city, along with the likes of billionaire casino owners Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn, then-Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, and the then-governor of Nevada.

Another article describes Stevens as a master showman, something he claims is “not my persona at all.”

But he admits as he gets older, he is beginning to acclimate to the flashy environment in Vegas.

Go big or go home

Derek Stevens with money

This year, Stevens wagered $100,000 on a special “4 teams vs. the field” prop at the South Point sportsbook. He needs Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan, or Kansas to win the national championship. During a VSiN radio interview, Stevens took odds of +105 from the South Point’s Jimmy Vaccaro. He could win $105,000 if one of those teams takes the title. (Source: gamingtoday.com; image courtesy of Derek Stevens.)

It may be safe to say that March Madness is Stevens’ favorite time of year. As the 2019 NCAA Championship kicks off this month, he reminisces about some of his splashiest bets on college basketball.

In 2015, he bet $20,000 on Michigan State at 50-to-1 to win the title, which would have been a $1 million payout, he says. MSU lost to Duke in the Final Four.

Before last year’s tournament, Stevens decided to show some love for his alma mater: He bet $25,000 on the Wolverines to win it all at 40-to-1 odds. If Michigan had cut down the nets in San Antonio (instead of 2018 champion Villanova), Stevens would have won yet another cool $1 million, he says.

Local press caught wind of the 2018 bet and covered Stevens’ antics. For the championship game, he dressed in maize-and-blue striped overalls, a block M-adorned blazer with the sleeves cut off, and a U-M baseball cap on backward. He watched the game at the LONGBAR with the betting slip and a figurine of Pope Francis on the bar under a glass box.

Even though Michigan lost, Stevens did not go home empty-handed. He “hedged” $330,000 on Villanova to win $100,000, and also made a single in-game bet. In all, he won about $23,000 during the tournament.

“I like to make a wager when I think we’re getting good value,” Stevens says. “And on some of the wagers with MSU and Michigan, there’s a little bit of a bonus if you have a good story to go with it.”

Now he’s making news with his 2019 bet. According to the website gamingtoday.com, Stevens has wagered $100,000 on a special “4 teams vs. the field” prop at the South Point. He needs Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan, or Kansas to win the national championship. During a VSiN radio interview, Stevens took odds of +105 from the South Point’s Jimmy Vaccaro, the site reports. “Stevens will win $105,000 if any of those four teams cuts down the nets.”

Host with the most

Stevens visits the Detroit-area occasionally to see family and get back to the Big House and Zingerman’s. But he says the beauty of Las Vegas is that people are happy to travel there to see him. Some weekends there might be 20 different groups he knows staying in his hotels.

“I feel very lucky that this is a part of my business,” he says.

Stevens laughs that maybe all those nights spent at Good Time Charley’s tending bar groomed him for his current line of work.

“I designed a place where I want to hang out,” he says. “When I’m done with work, I go down to the LONGBAR or one of our other bars and I can hang out for hours talking to customers.

“For me, I’m fortunate. I love what I do so it’s not really work.”

How to Read MLB Las Vegas Odds

The 2021 MLB season is underway with a full 162-game schedule. This MLB Vegas Odds page will be updated daily with money line betting odds on each game, including baseball odds from Las Vegas sportsbooks such as Westgate Superbook, Circa Sports, William Hill, and MGM.

For those outside of Las Vegas, we've also included MLB betting lines from online sportsbooks such as FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

We also offer odds to win the 2021 World Series for each team in our MLB Futures Odds section. This section also includes each team's odds to win the American League and National League Pennants.

How to read Baseball Las Vegas Money Line Odds

Choose one team or the other for the win!

If you’re betting Major League Baseball money line wagers, you will either be cheering for the favorite or the underdog to pick up the victory, as long as the game officially goes past the midway point (through the top of the fifth inning). A game must at least become official, per the rules of MLB, before a winner is determined. And when you are betting the money line, you will either select the favorite or the underdog to win outright, and you needn’t worry about margin of victory. Simple, right?

Similar to our Run-line and 1st Five Inning Odds, every game on the board shows with pitcher information, as well the Date and Time of the Major League Baseball games of the evening.

Baseball will list Favorites and Underdogs for that day’s games. The Money Line Odds will show the favorite listed with a (-), and the underdogs will be indicated by a (+) symbol. Most betting sites online, as well as all betting apps, will do the math for you. But it’s a rather simple equation based upon $100 wager.

N.Y. Yankees -125 (Bet $100 to win $80)
Tampa Bay +110 (Bet $100 to win $110)

In the above example, N.Y. Yankees is listed as the favorite (-), while Tampa Bay is considered the underdog. If someone making a wager selected the Yankees, favored to win, they would return only $80 on a $100 wager at minus-125. Some books will also offer fractional odds, and in this particular instance the Yankees would be a 4/5 favorite. The decimal format is sometimes listed, especially popular overseas, and the Yankees would be listed at 1.80 on the big board.

Since the Yankees are the favorite, the Rays are considered the underdog and bettors receive a larger return on their initial stake. In the example above, a $100 winning wager on the Rays would return a $210 total, which includes a $110 win and your original $100 stake. The fractional odds for this example would be 11/10, with the Yankees listed at 2.100 with the decimal conversion.

VegasInsider Open & Consensus

The VegasInsider Open and Consensus Lines can also be found on Page 2 of the Las Vegas Odds and within the Global Odds feature.

MLB Open Line

One of the best features on the MLB Vegas Odds is the Open Line. This numbers consists of the first betting line received from one of our Las Vegas or Global Sportsbooks. The opening line varies depending on the sportsbook but it provides a clear-cut rating that the oddsmakers use. If you’re betting on the MLB or any other sport, it’s a great idea to view the open line first.

VI Consensus MLB Line

The VegasInsider.com Consensus MLB Line is just as important as the Open Line and also a key resource on odds platform. The Consensus column could be called a “Median Line” since it shows the most consistent number provided by the sportsbooks on VegasInsider.com. The consensus line will be the same as the open line but once the wagers start coming in, this number is often different than the openers.

Plus, the MLB Results show the combined points scored so you don’t have to do the math in your head, d las vegas baseball michigan.

After games go final in the MLB Scores, a Recap level 5 cheerleading tumbling passes is shown which provides a quick synopsis on the action plus a Boxscore link gives a great statistical breakdown for both teams in the game.

MLB Livescores

Placing wagers on the professional teams in the MLB is one thing but following all nine innings of the action in the Livescores is even better, especially in extra innings. The VegasInsider.com MLB scoreboard shows real-time results as the games get underway, d las vegas baseball michigan. You won’t win or lose your wager until you see Final Score posted and that’s when you keep your eyes peeled for the Red Check and ATS results for each matchup. If you’re unsure of how you won or last, the Livescores populates a Recap link and that insight can help your sports betting techniques improve in the long run.

If you’re betting Major League Baseball money line wagers, you will either be cheering for the favorite or the underdog to pick up the victory, as long as the game officially goes past d las vegas baseball michigan midway point (through the top of the fifth inning).

Your team has a great bunch dickssportinggoods com baseball kids that are talented, have great attitudes, and play the game the way it should be played. That’s a tribute to you, your organization and the coaches of that team. It’s not often at this level that you see a travel team that combines all the intangible things needed for success and growth.

Your commitment to excellence and to the standards callaway golf x series n416 combo irons your organization are what set you apart.

Good Luck to your team I’m sure you will do very well this year and years to come.

You might think the d las vegas baseball michigan tagline “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” is just some catchy slogan cooked up to inspire tourism of a certain desert oasis. But Derek Stevens, BS ’90, knows better.

Listening to the owner of the D Las Vegas Casino & Hotel recount his first visit to Sin City, one is struck more by what Stevens omits from the narrative than what he shares about the trip, d las vegas baseball michigan.

In addition to the Surf retreat panama Las Vegas, he owns the city’s original casino, d las vegas baseball michigan, the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, with his brother, Greg Stevens.

The brothers expanded and renovated the Golden Gate, d las vegas baseball michigan, which has 122 rooms and suites, and started thinking about adding a second casino to the portfolio.

Even though he didn’t win the $1 million, Stevens still had a great time during the 2018 NCAA tournament, d las vegas baseball michigan. (Image:  D las vegas baseball michigan Morris/Las Vegas News Bureau.)

Another article describes Stevens as a master showman, something he claims is d las vegas baseball michigan my persona at all.”

But he admits as he gets older, he is beginning to acclimate to the flashy environment in Vegas.

Go big or go home

Derek Stevens with money

This year, d las vegas baseball michigan, Stevens wagered $100,000 on a special “4 teams vs. the field” prop at the South Point sportsbook. D las vegas baseball michigan needs Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan, or Kansas to win the national championship. During a VSiN radio interview, Mill valley basketball took odds of +105 from the South Point’s Jimmy Vaccaro. He could win $105,000 if one of those teams takes the title. (Source: gamingtoday.com; image courtesy of Derek Stevens.)

It may be safe to say that March Madness is Stevens’ favorite time of year. As the 2019 NCAA Championship kicks off this month, d las vegas baseball michigan, he reminisces about some of his splashiest bets on college basketball.

In 2015, he bet $20,000 on Michigan State at 50-to-1 to win the title, which would have been a $1 million payout, he says. MSU lost to Duke in the Final Four.

Before last year’s tournament, Stevens decided to show some love for his alma mater: Cayce fitness and tennis center bet $25,000 on the Wolverines to win it all at 40-to-1 odds.

He watched the game at the LONGBAR with the betting slip and d las vegas baseball michigan figurine of Pope Francis on the bar under a glass box.

Even though Michigan lost, Stevens did not go home empty-handed. He “hedged” $330,000 on Villanova to win $100,000, d las vegas baseball michigan, and also made a single in-game bet. In all, he won about $23,000 during the tournament.

“I like to make a wager when I think we’re getting good value,” Stevens says. “And on some of the wagers with MSU and Michigan, there’s a little bit of a bonus if d las vegas baseball michigan have a good story to go with it.”

Now he’s making news with his 2019 bet. According to the website gamingtoday.com, Stevens has wagered $100,000 on a special “4 teams vs. the field” prop at the South Point. He needs Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan, or Kansas to win pole vault practice equipment national championship.

“For me, I’m fortunate, d las vegas baseball michigan. I love what I do so it’s not really work.”
